MRS. EMORY RUPP, ROSS RESIDENT DIES SUNDAY
Mrs. Emory Rupp, 55, for a quarter of a century a resident of the Ross community died at 2:45 P.M. Sunday at her home. Her death came unexpectedly after an illness of three days. A case of bronchitis which at first did not appear to be serious developed into bronchial pneumonia.
During the summer months and until a few days prior to her death, Mrs. Rupp had been with her husband at the camp of a roadbuilding outfit six miles southeast of Ross of which Mr. Rupp was foreman.
The funeral was held at the Ross church Wednesday with Rev. A.T. Cory of the Presbyterian church of Stanley officiating. A very large number of people were in attendance to pay their last respects to the deceased.
Mrs. Rupp leaves her husband and four children Roy, Cecil, Mrs. Charles Graham and Mrs. George Wise.
NOTE: Thankful Etta Force was born in Poweshiek Co. IA to Joseph G. and Mary Ann Keysor Force. She was married 05 Dec 1894 in Marengo, Iowa Co. Iowa to Emery Martin Rupp.
