Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Helen Maude Lewis Jaeger, age 66, passed away August 4, 1990 in Santa Barbara, California, from injuries suffered in an auto accident.

Born October 7, 1923, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Ralph and Edna Miller Lewis. Married Emil Eugean Jaeger, August 15, 1942, in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, with honors. Attended Heneger Business College. Faithful and active member of the LDS Church. Served as ward and stake Primary President. Member Relief Society presidency. Cub Scout pack leader. PTA President of Sumner Elementary School. Senior Vice Commander DAV Auxiliary Unit #8. Apartment Association of Utah board director. Product Service Council board director. Past president of family owned business, Rental Gallary. Mother always made every occasion a special occasion for her family. Always kind and loving, putting others before herself. We will deeply miss you, our wife and mother.

Survived by her husband, Emil; children, Richard and wife, Mary; Margaret and husband, Don Jacobs; Brent; Debra and husband, Joe Hopper; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Ray Lewis; sisters, Norma Hatch, and Marge Butterfield. Preceded in death by a son, David, her parents, two sisters and a brother.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., Murray 19th Ward, 100 West 6100 South. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m., Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and Friday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
