Obituary.
Death has claimed for its own, Henry Satar, who was born August 26, 1847, near Ewing O., and was united in marriage to Barbara Miller, and to this union was born five children. Early in life he joined the U.B. Church, transferring to the M.E. Church under the Pastoral of Rev. Mather. he had been a great sufferer for the past five years, but during that time was never known to complain or murmer, but always maintaining a kindly feeling fo all. He often expressed himself to the family as being ready to go, and yet willing that the Lord's will should be done. his death occured very suddenly, he died as he lived, in peace with god. After an eartly pilgrimage of 56 years, 5 months and 17 days, death came and released him of his suffering on February 18. The deceased leaves a wife, one son, 4 daughters and 14 grandchildren to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate husband and father. He also leaves 2 brothers, 1 sister and a host of friends to mourn his departure. His death occurred suddenly Saturday morning near Ewing, on the old homestead where he was born, raised, lived and died with the exception of a few inervals. He was a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and held to the M.E. Church. He leaves a wife and daughter to remain lonely in the home; a place vacant that can never be filled. We do not mourn as those who have no hope. for he has gone to mingle with the angels. our loss is his great gain and we bow in submission and say God's will be done.
