Mrs. Charles G. Kreppel, 83, of 22 Oak St., Athens, died Sunday afternoon in the Hillcrest nursing home, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Born at Ewing, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Henry and Barbara Sater, she spent most of her life in Nelsonville and had lived in Athens for the past 16 years.
She was a member of the Nelsonville Methodist Church and its Reta Howe Class. Her husband, Charles, died in 1943; a son, Raymond, in 1956.
She is survived by a daugther, Mrs. Richard W. Wilson, Athens; and a sister, Mrs. Estella Hankison, Nelsonville Route 2.
Services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m., by Dr. F. M. Wentz. Burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
