Elsie Trapp Alsup, 94, of Anderson, died May 14, 2011, at Hillside Hospital, Pulaski, Tenn. She was a member of Lexington Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Rogersville Funeral Home, where the funeral service will follow immediately with Danny Pettus and Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Minor Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Alsup was preceded in death by her husband, Oakley Thomas Alsup; parents, William Thomas and Rachel Trapp; brothers, Virgil and Leonard Trapp; sisters, Lillie Bonner, Ann Reedy, Thelma Walker, Ruby Owens and Flossie Trapp; and son-in-law, John Kotarski, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue (M.C.) Hix, of Carthage, Tenn., and Doris Kotarski, of Anderson, Ala.; grandchildren, Steve (Tammy) Alsup, of Pulaski, Tenn., Chris (Shawn) Hix, of Carthage, Tenn., and John (Jennifer) Kotarski III, of Georgetown, Texas; great-grandchildren, Haley Alsup, Ashley (Richard) Kelly, Shelby and Gracie Hix, Camryn Whitman and Oakley Kotarski; great-great-granddaughter, Lydia Rachel Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
