Jane Carol Africa, 56, of Crownsville, died July 15, at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1953, in Annapolis to the late Charlie and Sallie Summerlin Sutton. She was a graduate of Arundel High School. Jane was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing crafts and loved horses and dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, David L. Africa; her son, James Gay; and her brother, Eddie Sutton. She is survived by her daughters, Faythe Anne Africa-Ward and Rachel Rae Africa-Sanchez. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20 at Hardesty Funeral Home P.A., 851 Annapolis Road in Gambrills. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wed. July, 21 at Hardesty Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Annapolis.
