James Gay Jr., age 24. Funeral services for James Carl Gay of will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hardesty Funeral 851 Annapolis Road. Mr. Gay died Saturday at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda of multiple injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident earlier that day in Bethesda, Maryland. Born in Maryland, he attended Old Mill High School and worked for CT Electric in Davidsonville. He also worked with Motorcyclists' Operation Santa Claus in 1994 A member of South Shore Baptist he volunteered and did electrical work the Anne County Fair Association. He also belonged to The Good Knight Campaign for Child Protection Network. Prince George's Safe Kids Coalition. He enjoyed motorcycling, camping and snow skiing. Surviving are his wife Sherri Davis and his daughter, Amber. Also surviving are his, David L. and Jane Sutton Africa of Crownsville and Debbie and James Carl Gay, Sr. with his two sisters, Faythe and Rachel Africa and one brother, Thomas Lawrence of Glen Burnie. His grandparents, Janice Africa and Evelyn Gay, both of Crownsville. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the James C.
