Luedell Dean, age 90 of Troup, Texas, went to be with her maker on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Dean; her parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Nelda Wheat of Troup, Texas; two granddaughters, Renee' and husband, Mitch Hawkins, of Whitehouse, Texas and Luanne and husband, Mike Womack, of Dawson, Texas; two step-grandsons, eight great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, T.C. Mitchell of Weatherford, Texas and Pat Mitchell of Carlsbad, N.M.
Luedell's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
A visitation was held on Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Branon Funeral Home.
Services were Friday, May 13, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Second Baptist Church of Lamesa with Bro. Rush Coffman and Bro. Clifton Igo officiating.
Burial followed in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
