Mrs. Sessum was a native of Atlanta, Texas and a resident of Hosston most of her life. She died February 13, 1987 at North Caddo Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church and a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. R. Sessum, Sr.
Survivors include three sons, William Robert Sessum, Jr. of Hosston, David Samuel Sessum of Converse, LA and John Roy Sessum of Orange Park, FL; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby S. Woodell of Oil City, Mrs. Viola S. Pearson of Hosston, Mrs. Grace S. Pearson of Shreveport, and Mrs. Wanda Guidroz of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Lela Hoss of Shreveport; 93 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
