Funeral services for Mr. Kellie Buck, 63, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2001, from the chapel of Byrdstown Memorial Funeral Home. Burial was in the Tompkins Cemetery with Byrdstown Memorial Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Buck died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Born July 17, 1937, in Fentress County, he was the son of the late Dennis Oak and Zona (Cravens) Buck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Buck.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Sammy Buck, Livingston, and Tammy and Terry King, Byrdstown; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Buck, Byrdstown; two brothers, Kirby Buck and Shellie Buck, both of Byrdstown; three sisters, Nellie Smith and Janie Hughes, both of Rickman, and Mary Pritchard, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
