Born Feb. 24, 1905, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Charles and Sarah (Hamm) Adkins. She was a homemaker and member of the North Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Charles William "Bill" Hodson of Camby; four grandchildren, Chuck Hodson of Brownsburg, Kathy McWilliams and Debbie Martin, both of Indianapolis, and Cheryl Auberry of Plainfield; seven great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis F. Hodson, in 1980; three sisters, Olive Troth, Mary Chapin and Bertha Sanders; and six brothers, Ben Adkins, Orville Adkins, Wiley Adkins, Virgil Adkins, Bill Adkins and Harold Adkins.
Private family services are scheduled. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in care of the funeral home.
