She was born in Mount Holly, Dec. 23, 1920, the daughter of Rollin and Ellen (Phelps) Johnson.
She attended Wallingford High School.
Mrs. Carrara was a member of Christ the King Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Carrara of Rutland, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fermo "Memo" Carrara, in 1990 and seven brothers and sisters, Clifford, Carl, Hubert, Howard, Marion, Myrtle and Ruth.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Christ the King Church in Rutland.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Wallingford.
