James was the husband of Erma A (Weiss) Mace and was the second oldest son of George Franklin and Clara Agnes (Eby) Mace. He became an orphan at age 8 when his parents both died of Typhoid Fever. James and Erma where the parents of 14 children. 3 died and 11 lived to adulthood. They have many descendants
