His wife was ANGELENA DAUL B. 1871 WI Luxemburg News Feb. 1955: Mrs. Gustav Retzlaff, 83, died at her home in Luxemburg Thurs. afternoon following an illness of about one year. The former Angeline Daul, she was born July 21, 1871 and spent her entire life in Luxemburg. She married Gustav Retzlaff in 1891. He died in 1932. Surviving her are three daughters: Mr. Virtus Blenners, Sabul, Iowa: Mrs Mabel Kellner, Green Bay and Mrs. Howard Frazer, Oxford, Wis.: six sons, Albert and Richard at home, Raymond, Casco, Alvin, New York City, George, Fairland, Wis., and Daniel, Luxemburg. One brother, John Daul, Green Bay: one sister, Mrs. August Meintz, Daggett, Mich.: Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were two grandsons, Milt and Glenn Retzlaff and four nephews, Amos and Alois Retzlaff, Harry Daul and Joseph Hartinger.
