In the 1930 census Archie is living at home with is brother Van and sister Irene and next door is the Murphy family. His brother Grady married Tishia Murphy in 1929. Grady and Tishia are living in the same Township. Archie listed as a Labor Farm. Archie had to work long and hard to talk Ethel in to marring him. after all Ethel younger brother Carson Married his sister Irene in 1941

Uncle Archie was a Farm hands, general farming in Atwood, Eastern Oklahoma, growing Peanut. My brother Dude remember going over to uncle Archie and eating peanut right out of the field.
Uncle Archie and Aunt Ethel did not have any children.

Archie was in the US Army Air cord for WWII was station in England along with his brother in-law, Leon S. Langley Jr. Archie had the job of pulling crew member out of crash plane and his brother in-law drove the ambulance, to take them to the Hospital. (as for Billy 2009)
Archie return to the State on the S.S. Queen Elizabeth on June 24, 1945. Archie is listed as Burden, Archie L., pfe 38088400 MOS 835 508th Bomb Sq (H), 351 Bomb Gp (H).
After WWII Archie return to Atwood and the Peanut farm. I was able the get a copy of a video that Sam and Bernice (Martin) Jacobs had taking in the 50s. Archie, Sam, Carson and his sons Ronnie and Dale and some other, they where bailing the peanut vine in the field and loading them on a truck.
It is said by Ray and Billy that Dude oldest son Richard look and act like uncle Archie
