JUANITA J. NOVAK

Juanita J. Novak, daughter of Loyd P. and Phoebe Eva Rutherford Allen, was born on May 30, 1921 at rural Haddam, KS.; and died on November 10, 2005, at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS.

She grew up and received her education in the public schools of Haddam, graduating from Haddam High School. On November 30, 1945, she married Edwin E. Novak, and to this union three children were born.

They farmed north of Haddam until retirement when they moved into Haddam in 1980. She worked at the Haddam Grocery Store and cooked part time as a cook at the Haddam/North Central School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Ilene Dalton; and grandson, Billy Stanley.

She is survived by her son Lonnie; daughters Norma Stanley and Elva Folsom; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Nov. 13 at the Haddam City Cemetery, Haddam, Kansas. Interment followed.
