Mrs. Bertha DeBard, 432 N. Eddy St., died at 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Etica, N.Y. Oct. 7, 1872, and has lived in South Bend for the last 60 years. Surviving Mrs. DeBard are her husband, Louis, a nephew, Roy Peck, Bay City, Mich. Friends may call after 12 noon Tuesday in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Clayton, of the Lowell Heights Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. DeBard was a member of the Lowell Heights Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louis DeBard who died Monday after a brief illness will be held in the Orivs Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Robert B. Clayton, B.D., pastor of the Lowell Heights Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charles Mayhart, Lee Towner, Russell DeBard, Fred Judd, William Hern and Lyons Peck.
