Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Elsie Viola) Buchholtz, 59, were held at 2 0.m. Oct. 10 in Zion American Lutheran church. The Rev. Alfred O. Mardorf officiated. Burial was in Wyoming cemetery.
Mrs. Buchholtz died Oct 7 in a Rochester, Minn. hospital. she was born Nov 22, 1911 in Jones county, daughter of Peter and Louise Eggert Bahnsen.
She received her education at Hayfield, Minn. and attended teacher's college at Kasson, Minn.
She was married to Fred Buchholtz Dec 30, 1932. They farmed in the Wyoming and Monmouth areas before moving to Wyoming.
Surviving are her husband of Wyoming; two sons, Donald of Wyoming and Daryl of Swaledale; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Diane) Carstensen of Wyoming; five grandchildren; one brother, Peter Bahnsen of Oxford Jct; four sisters, Mrs. Burdette Miller and Mrs. Glen Miller of Andrew, Mrs. Vince Lasack of Oxford Jct. and Mrs. Otto Hansen of Wyoming.
Her parents and an infant brother preceded her in death.
