Mildred June Hall "Midge" Woods 72 of Lake Butler passed away Sunday, May 8, at the home of her daughter following a brief illness. Mrs Woods was born in Webster Springs, WV on March 1, 1938, the daughter of the late Gilbert Raymond and Hazel Gertrude (Sharp) Hall. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Mrs woods is survived by daughters, Sandra Lynch of Summersville, WV,Debra Smith and Raven Geraghty of Lake Butler; sons, Rick Arthur and Edgar Woods Jr. of Worthington Springs and Jerry Coontz of Webster Springs, WV; a brother, Sidney James Hall of Lake Butler; a sister, Matilda Jane McRae of Worthington Springs; 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs Woods was preceded in death by a son, Joey Richard Coontz, infant daughters, Hope Arthur, Robin and Barbie Coontz, infant son, Billy Shane Coontz, a sister Nola Beth Kimble, three brothers, Roger Lee Hall, Lionel Raymond Hall, and Carlton Raye Hall. Funeral services were held Friday, May 13,at 11 a.m in the chapel of Archer Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Elixson conducting. Interment in the Ft. Call Cemetery.
