The body of Eugene Massey who resided five miles east if this place (Valley View), arrived here Friday night over the Santa Fe. Mr. Massey was a world war veteran, and being a victim of gas, has been an invalid for some time. His death occurred at Fort Bliss and his funeral, which was held at the New Hope Cemetery Saturday afternoon under the direction of Undertaker J. L. Leazer, was largely attended. Rev. C. L. Miller conducted the services.
