Gunden, Anna, daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Hochstdler) Shetler, was born Jan. 26, 1893, in Johnson County, Iowa; died suddenly March 14, 1958; aged 65 y. 1 m. 16 d.
In her early youth she moved with her parents to Pigeon, Mich., where she resided until her death.
On Oct. 27, 1915, she was married to Edward Gunden, of Pigeon, Mich.
Surviving are her husband, one son (Leon, Pigeon, Mich.), a foster daughter (Julia Bresco, Wyomissing, Pa.), 2 grandchildren, and one brother (Joseph O., Pigeon, Mich.).
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother (Elmer), and one sister (Emma-Mrs. Joseph Swartzendruber, Goshen, Ind.).
She was a faithful member of the Pigeon River Conservative Mennonite Church from her youth and served from many years in the primary department of the Sunday-school.
Funeral services were held at the Pigeon River Church, march 16, in charge of Loren Dietzel and Willard Mayer. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
