DEATH CLAIMS GLINES RESIDENT

Funeral services for Floy Otis Reynolds, 76, will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in the Glines Ward Chapel. He died November 4 in the Uintah County Hospital at 4:55 p.m.

Mr. Reynolds was born February 2, 1897 in Franklin Township, Ness County, Kansas to Walter Reynolds and Mattie Able Reynolds. He married Hilda Merkley February 25, 1926 in Whiterocks, Uath. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was a farmer, member of the LDS faith, former employee of the Showalter Garage for 12 years, carpenter and brick mason, veteran of World War I, discharged in Lawrence, Kansas between 1918 and 1920.

SURVIVORS: widow, Vernal; three sons, three daughters, Floyd M., Vernal; Hiram E., Aurora, Colorado; Sgt. Charles E., Luke Air Force Base, Arizona; Mrs. Lyle (Alma Loretta) Holmes, Mrs. Oran (Marjorie Doreen) Hunting, both of Vernal; Mrs. George T. (Margaret May) Wiggins, Stockton, Utah; mother and two sisters, May Davis and Pearl Peterselley, all of Kansas.

Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary.
