General E. Taylor Berry, late of Henry County, died at his home near Pendleton Station, on Saturday last. Gen. Berry was the father of Mrs. S. F. J. Trabue, Dr. Wm. Berry, Commodore Robert M. Berry, U. S. N., and several other children. He was in the 77th year of his age. He was a warm hearted, old fashioned Kentucky gentleman, and his death will be deeply regretted by a large circle of friends and relatives.
