Well Known Lady Dies At Residence Here Last Evening-
Mary Benson Martinez, Life Long Resident of County Passes Away- Mary [Miller] Benson Martinez, wife of Joe E. Martinez of Chico, died at her home south of the Cucharas river last evening. Mrs. Martinez has lived her entire life in this county, having been born at Badito 36 years ago. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Daniel and Leonard, three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Landis of Gardner, Mrs. George Landis of Apache and Mrs. Edward Quine of Ravenwood and four brothers, Edward Miller of Alamo, William Miller of Badito and Archie Miller of Denver.[Garfield Miller, unnamed] Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery under the direction of the Furphy Bros. Mortuary.
