Grace operated a dairy farm with her husband until their retirement. Grace considered herself a number one card player and was an avid Packer fan. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spending time with family and grandkids.
Grace is survived by her children Mary Ellen (Ernie) Fameree, Casco; James (Diane) Thiry, Luxemburg; Randy (Sue) Thiry, Casco: grandchildren Duane (Sherrie) Fameree, Diane (Mike) Agamaite, Danny Fameree, David Fameree, Dinah (Bret) Gygi, Genny Fameree, Debbie (Jeff) Bukouricz , Dawn (friend Chris) Thiry, Denise (Randy) Bastien, Ben Brien, Trisha (Robert) Gegare, Anna Brien, Don (Chelsea) Brien, Travis Thiry: 26 great grandchildren: 2 great great grandchildren: 3 sisters-in-law Emily Laurent, Elaine Laurent, Laura Thiry: 1 step sister-in-law Eunice Spitzer. She was preceded in death by her husband Goldie: parents Jule and Katherine Laurent: father-in-law and mother-in-law Constant and Selina Thiry: 2 grandchildren Doreen Fameree, Jesse Thiry: 1 great grandson Quincey Bastien: 4 brothers Walter (Lucy) Laurent, John (Laura) Laurent, Alois Laurent, Howard Laurent: 3 sisters Virginia (Alvin) Deprey, Betty (Joe) Challe, Fern Mae (Ray) Bouche: sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Elizabeth (Louie) Thayse, Bertha (Harold) Tabordan: step father-in-law Peter Spitzer: step brother-in-law Donald Spitzer: step sister-in-law Jane (George) Pavlik.
Visitation will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church in Lincoln on Monday February 10, 2014 from 9 to 11 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M. with Fr. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
