PARIS—Mrs. Roger Batsell, 75, of Paris, died 8 a.m. today at her home. Mrs. Batsell suffered a stroke several months ago and had been in failing health since.
Born Beulah Cartwright on Oct. 15, 1895 [sic], in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Sallie Cartwright.
On January 4 [sic], 1940 [sic] she was married to Roger Batsell of Paris. She was a member of the Paris AME Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, William of Minneapolis; and a half brother, Noah Beechum of Moberly.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris.

Mrs. Batsell Rites To Be Saturday
PARIS — Funeral services for Mrs. Roger Batsell, 75, of Paris, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris with the Rev. Donald Baker and the Rev. Laymon Troy officiating.
Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Batsell died 8 a.m. Wednesday at her home. She had suffered a stroke several months ago.
