Rose Marie Beanblossom, 70, Jeffersonville, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Born Aug. 31, 1940, in New Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sylvia Curts Beanblossom.

She was a member of New Amsterdam United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur McKinley Beanblossom.

Survivors include a brother, Larry D. Beanblossom of New Albany, and a sister, Blanche L. Allen of New Albany.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 11, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Wednesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in New Amsterdam Cemetery.

Officiant: Pastor Betty Sieberns.

Pallbearers: Don and Billy Hochendale, Chuck White and Danny Beanblossom.
