Thomas Wayne Danner, age 77, passed into the next life at 4:30 AM, 09 May 2011 at his home near Cobden, Union Co., Illinois. He was the son of Thomas Gilchrist and Anna Ruth McEntire Danner, both of whom preceded him in death. Preceding him in death too was a brother, Gary Dale Danner (1957), a former son-in-law, Hudson "Hoppy" Hopkins, (2004), and a sister-in-law, Janet Sprout Danner, (2007).
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Norma Joyce Parks Danner; Two daughters, Katrina Parks Danner Hopkins-Renzaglia (Paul) and Karen Elizabeth Danner; Four grandchildren, Elissa Marie Hopkins, Rhianna Elizabeth Hopkins, Kara Mariah Hopkins, Anna Maria Renzaglia, all of Cobden, Illinois; Three siblings, Carole Danner-Johns (Kent), of Bloomington, Indiana, William McIntyre Danner, Martinez, Georgia, and Carmen Marie Danner, Naples, Florida; Three nieces, Three nephews; Four grand nieces, and Four + grand nephews.
A Memorial Service was held 13 May 2011 at his home near Cobden, Illinois.
