Otwell, Indiana — William "Ike" Williams,78, passed away May 6, 2011 at his residence in Otwell. He was born November 10, 1932 in Pike County to Russell O. and Neoma (Rock) Williams. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army. Ike worked for the United Mine Workers. He belonged to the American Legion, United Mine Workers and attended the Winslow Full Gospel Church. He is survived by children, Eddie Williams of Oakland City, IN. , Ron Williams of Otwell, IN. , John Williams of Richland, IN., Julia Williams of St. Anthony, IN. , 22 grandchildren, Numerous Great Grandchildren, Brother and sisters , Bob Williams of Peoria, IL., Imogene Beck of Glezen, IN., Kathern Wilson of Bowman, Georgia Barrett of Muren, IN. Ike was preceded in death by wife's Velma and Mary, sons, Gordon and Tony, brothers and sisters , James, Donald, Thelma Barrett, Vivian Norrington. Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 11, 2:00 P.M. at the Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow. Visitation will be Tuesday May 10 , 4:00 -8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery in Pike County.
