Alice Wushinske, 92, of Mercer Pa., formerly of Monaca, died Friday, Feb. 18, 1994 in the Shenango Valley Medical Center following a short illness.
Born October 10, 1901, in Export, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah Haymaker Earnest. A graduate of the Indiana State Teachers College, she had taught in New Brighton and Center Township schools. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Monaca; Monaca Garden Club and the Monaca Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Wushinske on August 16, 1991.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jeanne Wushinske, New Wilmington; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Sally)Fales, Belpre, Ohio and three grandchildren.
The funeral service was officiated by Rev. Gregory Riether of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Monaca.
