Mrs. Love was a beloved mother and grandmother. She leaves behind a large circle of friends and was loved by many.
Mrs. Love is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Love; son, Robert Love; sisters, Jean Barton, Dora Calvery, Opal Calvery and Ruby Calvery.
She is survived by daughter, Sheena Herbert of Humble; brother, T. L. Shafer and wife, Virginia; sisters, Luna Mae Parker and Blanche Thrasher and husband, Dick; daughter in law, Cindy Petter; grandchildren, Chad Petty, Brandon Petty, Marshall Love, Kyler Love, Kelli Love and Jacey Love; extended family, Greg Petter, Meagan Petter and Jake Petter; also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 9 in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple with Rev. Ranjan Cletus officiating.
