A native of Norfolk, Mr. Scullion had retired as an electrical engineer from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 33 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Winifred H. Scullion; two sons, Edward B. Scullion of Norfolk and William J. Scullion, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Toni M. Scullion of Norfolk and William J. Scullion III of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery by the Rev. J. Shepherd Russell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel is handling arrangements.
