Captain Scullion of Norfolk, Virginia. He served in World War II, enlisting on February 3, 1941. In Korea, he was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was killed in action while defending his position east of the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea on November 28, 1950. His remains were recovered between 2002 and 2005, and postively identified in 2008. For his leadership and valor, Captain Scullion was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
