Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Newellton Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Thompson and A. D. Foster officiating.
Burial will be in Legion Memorial Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah.
Mr. Adams was a native of Concord, Ga., but had resided in Tensas Parish for the past 30 years. Before his retirement he was a carpenter contractor and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. E. L. Adams of Newellton; five sons, Jimmy Adams, Roy S. Adams, Emmitt Adams, Jr. and Billy Ray Adams, all of Newellton, and Joe Adams of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Luckett of Newellton; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be W. G. Humphries, Hense Gossett, Clyde Ray Arnold, Ed Eads, Earl Morris and Billy Cullum.
