Born November 18, 1932 in Timewell, Illinois the daughter of Elmer & Nellie Hendricks Perry, Marilyn was united in marriage with Arthur "Junior" Klingler in Sept of 1949 in Nevada;
he preceded her in death on Nov 22, 1969
Marilyn later married Arthur Herren in July of 1971 in Timewell, he preceded her in death July, 1988
Marilyn attended Timewell schools and had worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for Modern Manor Nursing Home, then Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mt Sterling for over 35 years
She always enjoyed quilting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. For she cherished every call from her grand children asking for recipes or just everyday life advice
Her years of wisdom will be missed; recipes may never taste the same but will always be remembered as having come from Mom or Grandma
Survivors include four children:

Kathy Glore, husband Bill, of Quincy, Ill
Bob Klingle, wife Trish, of Brooklyn, Ill
Donna Bullard, husband Gordon, of Mt Sterling
Three step children:
Dale Herren, wife Cindi of Connecticut
Marie Sicking, husband Wayne, of Oklahoma
Roger Herren, wife Shirley, of Congerville, Ill
One sister, Betty Gabriel of Galesburg, Ill
Also 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several step grand children, step great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and her many friends survive
She was preceded in death by her parents, one stepson, Larry Herren and two brothers: Jim and Bob Perry
Graveside services scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Mound Cemetery, Timewell; Rev Laura Simmons officiating
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 am, Tuesday at Hendricker Funeral Home, Mt Sterling
