Edward Manning Allen died at his residence, Ocean View avenue and Tenth street, Willoughby Beach, yesterday morning at 1:55 o'clock after an illness of five days. He was a son of the late Ethan and Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Allen and was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. He is survived by three brothers, Richard B. Allen of Baltimore; Lingan B. Allen of Salem and Herbert C. Allen of Asheville, N.C.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover avenue. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
