Willa H. Weathersby, age 96 died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Buckingham South.
Graveside Rites will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:30 pm from Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Willa was born March 31, 1915 in Savannah to the late Esther Iler and Adolph Hegman. She was a Dental Hygienist with the Veterans Administration in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jake Weathersby.
Survivors include a sister, LaRue H. Woods of Savannah and two nieces; Donna Fleetwood of Paris France, Julia A. Garnett of Tacoma Washington, a nephew, Jimmy Woods of Savannah.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 2:15 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
