Marion Francis Barker, 89, of Rt. 5, Springdale, died March 6 at Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 3, 1884 at Kingston, he was the son of Frank and Mollie Inman Barker.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Combs Barker of the home; one son, Clyde Barker, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Mayme Armes, Springdale, and Mrs. Evelyn Smith, Kingston; one half-brother, Willie Binam, Springdale; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Kingston Community Church with the Rev. Den Montgomery and the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial will be in Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
