Mrs Carolina Meier, 86, died this morning at her home in Blooming Grove. She was born in Eidingshausen, Germany, and came to America with her parents in 1852. They settled in the town of Cottage Grove, and Mrs. Meier has lived in the same community since that time. Besides her husband, Henry Meier, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julius S. Moehlman, Madison, and two sons, Charles Meier of Madison and Henry Meier Jr., at home. A grandchild Marie, also survives. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Gunderson Funeral Parlors. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and at 2:30 at Hope Lutheran Church, the Rev. H. C. Neemann officiating. Interment will be in Hope cemetery.
