Early transcription records indicate that she was buried in the Old Bisanar Cemetery. This was probably the cemetery found at the time of construction on the present-day site of Walmart on Hwy. #321-North at the intersection with Hwy. #321-A outside of Granite Falls, NC. In more recent times it had been referred to as the Starnes Cemetery. The graves were either unmarked or marked simply with fieldstones. The remains of about 50 people from this site were reinterred at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Granite Falls, NC.
