Ortha M. Ayers, 82, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Manor Care Health Services. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Lizton. Her parents were William and Esther (Leak) Ayers. Survivors include a nephew, R.F. "Skip" Kreisher of Indianapolis; two great-nephews; a great-great-nephew; and a great-great-niece.
She was employed by United Home Life Insurance Co. as a clerk for 12 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Lizton Cemetery.
