Indianapolis - Claris F. Kreisher, 72, died Saturday (Jan. 19, 1991) at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a 30-year resident of Indianapolis.

She was born Aug. 9, 1918 in Lizton, Indiana. Her parents were Wiliam F. Ayers and Esther (Leak) Ayers. She was married to Frank M. Kreisher, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Rupert Kreisher of Greenwood; a sister, Ortha Ayers of Greenwood and two grandchildren.

She was employed as a ratings clerk for Indiana Insurance Company for 27 years, retiring in 1983.

Her memberships included the Perry and Greenwood senior citizens clubs.

A service will be held at the Singleton and Herr Madison Avenue Mortuary at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
