daughter of the late William and Agnes Brierly. She was a longtime and faithful
member of the Scottdale Church of Christ, where in previous years taught Sunday School classes and Bible School. She had previously been employed in the Coffee Shop of Frick Hospital and Community Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by a daughter, Vila Mae Rosen and her husband, Wilmer, of Elkhart, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Thomas in 1968; a daughter, Margery Bentz in 1969; a son, Harold Thomas in 1976; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. Friends will be received in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m., the hour of the funeral service in the funeral home with her pastor Robert Chambers.
