Norma Sherrer Kicklighter, 81, widow of Jasper W. Kicklighter, passed away July 8, 2014.

Born in Laurens County, Mrs. Kicklighter was the daughter of the late Garnett F. and Frances Combs Sherrer. She was a graduate of Parker High School; and a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano.

Surviving are two sons, Darrel S. Kicklighter of Greenville, and Wayne Kicklighter of Belleville, IL; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and one brother, Bryson Sherrer of North Carolina. Predeceased were her husband, parents, and three brothers: Larry, Cecil, Douglas Sherrer; two sisters, Cornelia Sherrer Davis and Ola Beatrice Sherrer; and two sons, Robert and Douglas Kicklighter.

Visitation will be from 11 AM - Noon, Sat., Jul. 12 at CSSC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville; with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens, Piedmont. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
