We are sorry to report the deaths of two friends and sisters of our neighbors. Mrs. Louise Marshall, sister of Mrs. Elmer Olson, formerly of Lyons, but living of late with her daughter, Helen and family, the Robert Johnsons of Braham, passed away Saturday morning. Funeral services were in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sebeka Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Marshall Cemetery in Lyons.

Louise K. Marshall, daughter of Jens Peter and Lena Jensen, was born on February 27, 1886, in Ahlborg, Denmark. The family came to this country in 1895 to Pipestone, Minnesota. In 1897 they moved to Wadena county, near Nimrod.
She was married to Albert J. Marshall in September of 1904. They made their home near Nimrod. Mr. Marshall died in 1947. Then she made her home with her son, George, in St. Paul. Since 1957 she has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Robert Johnson, near Braham.
Mrs. Marshall entered the Braham hospital on December 26th, 1963 and passed away on Friday evening, January 31st, 1964, at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 4 days.
She is survived by seven sons, Marvin, Elwynn, George and Victor, all of St. Paul; Alfred of Sebeka; Vernon of Sparks, nevada; Richard Calvin of Savage; on daughter, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Johnson of Braham; 26 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Olson of Sebeka, Mrs. Bernard (Otellia) Atcheson of Grand Rapids; Mrs, Joe (Serena) Reece of Billings, Montana; one brother, Nels of Staples; and other relatives.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in St. Paul.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 4, 1964, at 1:30 P.M. at the Trinity Lutheran church, Sebeka, Minnesota, with Rev. Carl Jepson officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Oray Tangen, accompanied by Mrs. Carl Jepson. The pallbearers were Marvin Marshall, Jr., James Marshall, Everett Marshall, David Marshall, Rolland Johnson and Avert Grant, all grandsons of Mrs. Marshall. Interment was at the Marshall cemetery in Lyons township.
