Vernon Albert Marshall passed away at Life Care Center at the age of 83. He was born to Albert Jasper and Louise Jensen Marshall and had lived in Reno since 1959, coming from Redondo Beach, CA, where he lived since 1953. Vernon worked in the plumbing and air-conditioning business for 20 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Plumbers and Fitters Union Local 350, Knights of Columbus and the Catholic church. He received an associate degree from Dunwoody Institute in Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Sally, son, Larry and daughters, Linda Sellers, Sandy Pelkofer and Mary Jane Loudenburg, all of Reno; son, Daniel of Phoenix; one sister and three brothers of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by daughters, Donna in 1960 and Therese in 1952, son, Patrick in 1951. Cremation was held at Masonic Memorial Gardens Crematory, under the direction of Telophase Cremation Society.
