"Barbara Ann Bradham Sharp of Tuscola passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church with the Reverends Jack Stephens and Michael Berry officiating. A private burial will be held at the family plot in the Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Coleman, Texas. The casket will be closed at the start of the service and not be reopened.

"Barbara was born on February 23, 1931 in Brenham, Texas. She was the daughter of the late O. F. and Bessie Dale Bradham. On August 22, 1953 she married Leonard A. Sharp in Novice, Texas. Barbara was a graduate of White Oak High School and attended Kilgore Junior College. Before retiring in June of 1990, she was a secretary for the Jim Ned CISD and worked several years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

"Left behind to cherish her memory of fifty two years is her husband Leonard of Tuscola; one daughter, Katri Elaine and husband Joseph Chmielewski; one son, Larry Alan and wife Suzann Sharp; grandchildren Tiffany Chmielewski, Michael Chmielewski, Monica Sharp, Karli Sharp, and Jared Sharp; and step-grandchildren, Joseph and wife Charity Chmielewski, and Taji Sperber; and one sister, Rosiland Fuller of Flower Branch, Georgia and Paul Bradham of Longview, Texas. Also surviving is a special sister-in-law, Ellen Bradham of Portland, Texas, as well as various nieces and nephews.

"The family received friends on Sunday March 12th from 2-4 pm at the family residence, 609 Tomahawk Trail in Tuscola."
