obit: A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Ellia Terrebonne Chabert, 90, a native and

resident of Cut Off, who died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, April 1,1998

Visitation was to funeral time at the church.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Elvis "Al" and Edwis Chabert, Emelia Pitre, Vivian Mayet, Nina Bourg and Dora Curole; sister of Lorena Martinez and Florita Blanchard. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 greagrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chabert; parents, Pierre and Lolita Bruce Terrebonne; three brothers, Nestor, Bruce and Taft Terrebonne; four

sisters, Florida and Liliska Blanchard, Eleanor Pregeant and Laura Terrebonne.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
