JOHN HENRY McDONALD, 61, died Monday morning at the home of his brother, Ira, in Stowe Prairie township, with whom he had lived the past two years. Funeral services will be held from the Folkestad Funeral Home this afternoon. The Rev. Tinsley of Hewitt will officiate. Burial will be in Wadena cemetery.
Mr. McDonald, who has lived in the Wadena community for thirty years, came here from South Dakota. He was born in Pottawattamie county, Iowa. Rheumatism and complications caused a lingering illness.
Surviving is his wife, formerly Nettie Bell Herr, whom he married 11 years ago, and their daughter, Ellen and three brothers and three sisters, Ira, Jim of Sebeka, Jay of Bellwood, Neb., Mrs. George Bartell, Hewitt; Mrs. Herman Meyers, Sibley, Iowa, and Mrs. Irvin Anderson, Portland, Oregon.
