Mrs. Mangold, 87, died Thursday (Aug. 4, 1994) in her home on Krull Parkway after a short illness.
A native of Essex, England, the former Norah Collier moved to Niagara Falls as a young child.
She was a floor supervisor for 41 years at the former S.S. Kresge store on Falls Street. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 1411 in North Tonawanda, the Guide Rail Bowlers, State and Stylus, the American Federation of the Blind, the Rebekah Lodge and the Republican Club.
Her husband, Harold Mangold, died in 1951. Survivors include two sisters, Violet Bowman and Kathleen Newman, both of Niagara Falls.
She was a longtime friend of William Thompson.
